use the heavy end of a butter knife to gently tap around the lid making small dents, usually opens very easily

Use a butter knife!! Slam it on the sides all the way around the lid. It breaks some seal apparently. Works for me🤞

Wedge the tip of a spoon between the lid & glass and push down until it pops to release the seal. It’s easy to open after that.

You can puncture a hole on lid with a steak knife. It opens right up
