@jessjustmade: Still Here ♥️ Diy sweetheart neckline dress using the Dutiers sewing pattern on Etsy. This pattern comes in sizes XXS-6XL. It’s designed with a stretch fabric in mind and comes in two lengths a mini & a midi. The neckline design has contrast binding or you can do a monochrome look out of the same fabric, like I did. I absolutely love this pattern! I did make some mods because the fabric im using didn’t have as much stretch as suggested. I sized up to a medium based on the finished garment measurements. And thank you for the generous 5/8 side seam allowance. I reduced my side seam allowance down to 1/4 and used that extra ease to cut the back piece in half and add a zipper. Also when i changed the side seam allowance I had to cut longer binding for the underarms. With the seam down the back I added a slit at the bottom of the skirt for better walking movement with the fabric I’m using. Also my dress making friends may notice I still needed to add a hook & eye to the top of my zipper when I filmed this but I was running out of sunlight and patience.
