@kansascitykaren: 💥 Wow, what a cool museum!💥 We enjoyed visiting the @toyandminiaturemuseum in Kansas City this summer. I cannot believe this was my first time going. I’ve driven buy it SO many times being right on @umkcinkansascity campus, but this time I went in an explored it with my family! Here are my tips and highlights below 👇 ✔️ Admission is $10 for adults and kids under 5 are free. There are different perks for youth, students, veterans, etc for admission and store discounts. Open Wed-Monday 10-4pm ✔️ The first floor, you can explore all the miniatures! Who knew how small some toys are, and how many look real like but so incredibly small you need a magnifying glass to see them. This was really neat! ✔️ Second floor is where you’ll find your childhood memories! We walked past the 80s and 90s section and saw the toys we once played with as kids. My husband found toys from a happy meal that he had in the 80s ✔️ So cool to see how toys have evolved over time, and through the generations.
