@wfhlifewithashley: Part 7 | This state has some really cool benefits! Make sure you watch all the way to the end to find the Homeschool state regulations in Ohio. If you are homeschooling and are a beginner the first step you need to learn is how your state views homeschool and whether or not it’s a highly regulated, or low regulations for what you need to report to your state. On my profile I go over a lot of the day to day homeschool routines and habits we create, but right now, by request I’m going through every state to tell you the regulations to begin homeschooling. In this video I forgot to mention the subjects you need to teach so they are listed as follows:
Home education programs are required to teach language, reading, spelling, writing, geography, history of the United States and Ohio, government, math, science, health, physical education, fine arts (including music), first aid, safety, and fire prevention. All of this came from the HSLDA.org website so make sure you are still in touch with your school district and find local homeschooling groups so people can tell you by experience how to go through these details. #momsintheir30s #homeschoolmom #homeschoolprep #homeschoolersoftiktok #homeschoolfamily #homeschoolquestions

I just went through this process yesterday and most of this information has changed. No assessments, no teacher requirements, degree, diploma , and no mandatory teaching hours….
