I read it second and it 100% is the way to go! Get the into with the first book and then AB gives good insight/upcoming characters in the books later!

I read AB first and loved feeling like I got to know the character better before seeing her experience in ToG. Just personal preference 🙂

i read it in this order too and im so glad i did bc i wouldn’t have been this invested in the character, i’m in heir of fire now and i’m happy read it before this book bc of the characters

Definitely agree that it should be read first! It makes it a lot easier to get into the series (plus it’s in chronological order)

It is a personal choice. I tried it twice first and I could not get into it. I have heard from others that others like it first.
