I've been out of the industry for a bit bit it used to be really frowned on to disconnect an airbag without disconnecting the battery first.

I just did this same diag on a Hyundai Santa Fe to prove a bad clockspring. It’s one of the rare cases where continuity test is the best first action.

almost anything I scan has CAN network codes in modules. i just assume the battery voltage drops. isn't it just nothing?
