I've had the same things lately and had the same exact thing happen, she would tighten and the pain was just awful. But after a while she just calmed.

Braxton hicks hit me very early in my pregnancy and I went to the hospital at 4am thinking I was in labor. There’s a huge chance that’s what it is.

Braxton hicks can be painful. but it's best to lay on your side and sip water/ice chips. my last baby is 5 but I got bh when I was 22 weeks.

They can be Braxton hick contractions! Meaning your stomach gets tight & it could be hard for you to breath or you feel short of breathe!
