Guys need glutes too‼️ Every time I post a glute workout, I’ll get a couple question from guys asking me why I’m training glutes because they didn’t think that’s something guys needed to do. These are genuine questions. For whatever reason, guys have been led to believe that training glutes is something ONLY women should be doing. There are no such things as “feminine” muscles or “masculine” muscles. They’re just muscles. Men shouldn’t ignore training glutes any more than women should ignore training back and shoulders. If you want a balanced and proportional physique, you need to be training every muscle in the body. The only distinction I’d make between glute training for men and glute training for women (aside from total weekly volume), is that guys should typically just stick to compound movements - Lunges, leg press, deadlifts, and hip thrusts. There really is no need to be doing all the accessory, isolation, and specialization movements you might see women doing online and in the gym. Bottom line, Your glutes play an important role in several mechanical functions of your body, and the last thing you want to do is neglect them.
