@jakespence: I know it’s not a BMW, but I saw this old Corvette at a local show the other day and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it 🤯 Seeing an elderly couple (Steve & his wife) sitting on lawn chairs in front of their beloved Stingray just struck a chord with me 🥹 Imagine the memories you’d have after 623,000 miles. Imagine the bond you’d have with a car that you’ve owned and cared for after 60 years. And to have a partner that is just as passionate as he is about it… wow 😮 I’ve never been a classic car guy, heck, I don’t know much about anything that was built before the year 2000. But this is the first classic car that made me stop in my tracks. It wasn’t just the car, but the people in front of it. It was a great reminder that cars can be much more than something that gets us from point A to B.
