My favorite @HART Tools are on sale! Check the link in my bio for the links to the #HARTTools I used for this project! (AD) Here's how I did it! + marked off all the studs! I had this done already from a previous project but you can use a HART stud finder to do so! + I got a great tip from my dad to install the upper cabinets first so it would be easier to move around versus doing the lowers first (thanks dad!!) + I wanted my upper cabinets to sit 54
My favorite @HART Tools are on sale! Check the link in my bio for the links to the #HARTTools I used for this project! (AD) Here's how I did it! + marked off all the studs! I had this done already from a previous project but you can use a HART stud finder to do so! + I got a great tip from my dad to install the upper cabinets first so it would be easier to move around versus doing the lowers first (thanks dad!!) + I wanted my upper cabinets to sit 54" from the floor, so I marked that measurement on the wall with my HART 25' Autolock Tape Measure + I then installed a ledger board right below that measurement using a level (a MUST!), my 20V 1/2" Drill/Driver and #8 x 2-1/2 in. Low-Profile Washer-Head Wood Cabinet Screws + We lifted the first upper cabinet onto the ledger board which will temporarily hold the weight of the cabinet & ensure that it's installed straight. I again used my 20V 1/2" Drill/Driver & cabinet screws to install the cabinet into the studs! + I removed the ledger board, and re-installed it to where the second upper cabinet would go, 24" away from the first one and repeated the cabinet installation process. + I then repeated the process with the lowers and added butcher block counter top, securing with my HART 20V 1/2" Drill Driver & cabinet screws. + I also applied end panels to the sides of each cabinet using my #HART 20V Brad Nailer for a more polished look.... and Ta-Daaaa! I'm so happy with how it turned out. It was honestly SO easy, I can't believe I put this off for so long. Dream girl garage loading!! Comment LIST for the full list of HART tools used for this cabinet install or check the link in my bio (they're on sale rn too!!) Now... what color should I paint these cabinets? Let me know in the comments! #DoItWithHART #HARTHolidays
