Tbh DKC 1, 2 and tropical freeze are all better than 2d Mario. Wonder, 3, and world are debatable tho

As an adult, the SNES Mario games are ridiculously easy. The DKC games are still difficult by the end.

The reason they're not talked about as much is they came out right at the end of the SNES's life, before N64 and after the PS1.
