@brutamerica: A roofing company in Florida, Roof EZ, has a controversial offer for its November sale: buy a roof and get an free AR-15 and a turkey. The ad titled, “Roof and Gobble,” was taken down earlier in the week, but then posted again on the company’s social media accounts. The company added in its post, “All rules and regulations for obtaining a firearm apply, you will have to go to Shoot Center in Cape Coral to pass a background check and obtain the AR-15.” The AR-15, named after its first manufacturer ArmaLite, is the country’s most popular rifle and its most dangerous. According to reports by NBC, 12 of the deadliest mass shootings since 2006 have involved an AR-15.
