I was in my office trying to play catch up and couldn't really get anything done because both girls were having what seemed like behavior after behavior ... I finally got Kensley settled, but Kennedy couldn't get it together. She was upset, but couldn't verbalize what was bothering her. My baby just wanted to be held...she requested we sit in the floor and we did just that. After sitting there for some time, she calmed down and asked if we could lay on the floor in front of her bedroom until she falls asleep. We did just that.... I have and will always have an open door policy for my girls... I will always have an open door policy for my babies. I will never be to busy to stop what I'm doing to meet their needs. In that moment, had to really check myself and remind kenendy, just how much I love her and Kensley. I had to give my baby a heart felt apology..... she wiped my tears, told me it was going to be ok and slept off. How quickly the roles changed. I could have gotten frustrated with their behaviors, but l've have been praying and asking God to show me how to deal them. If I had responded by yelling or becoming frustrated, she would have just shut down and the behavior would have continued.
