At first, Buzz tries to reason with Woody, but to not avail. Woody has already been changed irreversibly into a monster after the seemingly endless days of torture Sid put him through. He then proceeds to kill Buzz, as he was his replacement; his greatest rival. Next, he moves onto Slink. Slink apologizes and pleads for another chance, and whilst Woody is tempted, he ultimately decides that Slink is just another pawn who left him to Sid.
Then, Bo appears and tries to put an end to Woody's slaughter. This time, Woody shows a glimpse of his old self, as Bo tries to reason with him. But ultimately, Woody is too far gone after killing the other toys. He feels regret, shame, guilt, but regardless, he knows it's too late for him now. Then at last, he finds Andy; the guardian who failed to protect him from the horrors of Sid. Andy was the master of the puppets; the one who kept all the Toys enslaved in the desolate prison of his bedroom. And after all these years of torment, agony, anguish, Woody was the big kid now...
