I understand the nurses helped her out alot but it doesn't replace him. idk what I would do if my husband didn't stay. I would have cried to be honest

Most public hospitals the partner can’t stay. I went public but because of my epilepsy I was able to have my own room and my partner got to stay 😅

I work in a maternity ward in a public hospital and most people have their partners stay over night! Only not allowed when there's no space

I completely understand it but I was really lost that first night without him. Just knowing the comfort, love and support is right there 🥺

I tried to get my husband to go home and rest. He wouldn’t leave until I could. I would be so upset if he wouldn’t have been able to stay the night.
