I’m Becker Chicaiza, and I’m the founder of BE CHIC Hair Care, a line of high-performance, plant-powered products that promise you healthy, beautiful hair. My passion for hairstyling has taken me all over the world, from my humble beginnings in my homeland of Ecuador where I cut hair using my mom’s fabric shears, to where I am today, as the owner of Becker Chicaiza Salon in Greenwich, Connecticut, and creator of the viral #TwistandTexture haircut. Everywhere I traveled I fell in love with hair—yes—but also the people, who I wanted to look and feel as chic as I knew they were—because beauty is all about confidence inside and out.
