The incredibly colorful rock formations of the Andes are located 5,200 meters above sea level on the majestic Osangat Glacier, about 90 kilometers southeast of the city of Cusco. Since the colors of the rainbow come in seven shades, it is often called the Rainbow Mountain (Mondayu Arco Iris) or the seven-color mountain.
