Usually, but not always, purebred breeds have more medical issues especially later in life specifically bone, joint, and digestive problems.

Fair statement. I prefer to take the unwanteds though and yes it does lead to difficulties. Our pup is deaf, But I wouldn't trade her for the world.😁

My dads gf has a dog from Romania, he was a street dog. As a pup, he was lovely. Now? A demon. Good in the house but is a nightmare outside of it.

Well bred or pure bred? my brother gets pure bred dogs and they've nearly died because of the issues associated with "pure breeding" and cost him

I absolutely agree, having grown up on a farm with mainly shelter dogs, my dog now (who came from a breeder) is just a different journey entirely. And we only used full bred dogs to protect animals.

if you are looking for a family dog, you should look into shelters, if you are looking for anything else, a breeder is the better choice
