@drjoedamiani: Do you experience pain and headaches on one side that goes down to the top of the shoulder? You may also experience shoulder blade pain as well. Very commonly overuse of the trapezius muscle can lead to all of these symptoms. The trapezius muscle is a prime mover of the scapula, and when it is moving incorrectly, or does not have help from the other stabilizing muscles to the scapula… it overworks causing referred pain. Correct movement of the shoulder blade (or scapula) is essential to reduce headaches, neck and jaw pain. In this video, I demonstrate how to do 3 exercises to retrain scapular movement thus taking some of the load off the trapezius and reducing your pain. Give it a shot and DM with questions. #shoulderpain #headaches #neckpainrelief #chronicpain #myofacialrelease #serratusanterior #shouldermobility
