@financiallyfreeleigh: This is the first year that I’ve donated towards the Angel Tree program 🎄 I am so grateful that I am in a position to be able to do this. As a Christian, I believe that we are all stewards of the money that God has given us. It is not our own. During this season, I want to show other children that they are seen, and loved, so they get a glimpse of God’s love. As you’ll see between the two children, there is a big price difference. You get to choose which child you buy gifts for. If you don’t have a large budget, then you were able to choose a child that just need some basic things like clothes. I made a post a couple of weeks ago about programs that families can use if they need assistance to buy gifts during the holidays. When I found out about the Angel tree program, I was immediately interested and try to figure out where my angel tree location was. The Salvation Army does do income checks and other verifications to make sure that the items are actually going to these children in need.
