@drmikemah: What are the similarities and differences between a bipolar hypomania and ADHD? Some key similarities - hyperactivity, impulsivity, butting into conversation, racing thoughts. Some key differences - bipolar hypomanias are EPISODIC whereas ADHD symptoms are persistent. Not to mention - in bipolar hypomania - there is a decreased need for sleep w/an increase in energy and usually much higher goal oriented behavior. #bipolar #adhd #adhdwomen #bpdtiktok #bodtiktok
My son was diagnosed as gifted with learning disabilities, and ADHD. I took him to a psychiatrist a decade later who diagnosed him with bipolar 2.

Is it possible to have both bipolar 2 as well as major depressive disorder? If so, what meds should I ask about? It's always been considered treatment resistant according to the many doctors I've seen

what about having ADHD with PMDD? This can be more episodic yet… all dependent on hormones fluctuations.
