These childhood situations do compact your adulthood. I know they are grown but everyone needs to heal and learn from what we have dealt with. It does feel like a death in the family your whole world gets turned upside down.

Therapy will help these little girls sort out their feelings, realize the last years were a facade and feel for your parents as humans. Good lord! Work through the trauma. It’s death of the relationship and they threw away their parents.
