if you had water hook up there that would be a perfect place for a pet wash area...lower then counter but higher the a tub on the floor to save your back🙃

save yourself a TON of time, give everyone 1 dirty clothes basket, that basket follows THEIR dirty clothes right back into their room nice and clean. do not mix everyone's clothes.

I have a 4 bin hamper. We sort our clothes as they come off and the kids sort into our bins when it’s time to do the laundry.

I put small baskets from DT with everyone’s name on them and their socks & underwear go in there out of the dryer & I have a rod to hang things on.

My laundry room is super small so I use the cube shelves. Clothes come out of the dryer, get folded & put in their cubes to be put away.

Great idea I’d give each child 2 laundry baskets so ones for laundry room and you have them bring you the dirty while you hand them the clean one

It is a huge room to make a great space for you, also like the shelves above/over the appliances for soap, ect. I love your house, I love 70s vipe.
