I always cut the pipe towards the top when I do this in case i hit the treads some it has less chance to leak

He removed a 22 fitting, Used Sawzall to remove female threaded adapter, replaced it with 4" threaded bushing also used Teflo tape & pipe dope🤣🤣🤣
