@jonnixiong: If you’re trying to lose weight, but feel like it’s just so hard to do, this is probably why. It doesn’t matter how high your goals are. What matters are your standards. You don’t rise to the ambition of your goals. You fall to the level of your standards. This is why you know so many people who talk big things. Who say they want to achieve XYZ, but very few achieve it. You might even be the same. And it’s normal. People love to fantasize what future they really want to live in. But in reality, what happens is people will always default back to their standards. Because your goals are usually created by inspiration and motivation. But as we all know, those positive feelings are very temporary. Your standards, however, are the things you do on a daily basis. It’s your routine. Such as working out when you don’t feel like it. Eating healthy when you don’t feel like it. Getting your sleep when you don’t feel like it. Just like how you will never miss a day of brushing your teeth in the morning.
