@analyticswithadam: Data Analyst RoadMap 2024 Step 3 Excel Excel is the most popular data analytics tool in the world for a reason. It can be used to store, analyse, clean and visualise data. For the vast majority of companies it is the only data tool used besides transaction systems so this one is a must. PowerQuery adds data ingestion, cleaning and report automation capabilities to Excel so this is also a must to learn in your Excel journey. We can use power query to pull data from databases using SQL so this is why Excel comes after SQL. There are a bunch of Excel tutors out there but my favourite by far is Leila Gharani. I would recommend her courses on Udemy and following her YouTube Channel for Weekly videos on functionalities in Excel which are nearly always geared toward data analysis. Some of her courses are now available only at Udemy for business or on her website. Would also recommend maven analytics: With Udemy you won't go wrong with a highly rated course in any of the topics we discuss today. They are not niche tools, the most important thing is that you use the skills to build stuff. Take a basic course then build.
