Throughout the whole process you should be building portfolio projects and refining as you learn more. Do not move on to a new skill until you have worked out some hard problems for yourself. Document your journey. Build a portfolio showcasing projects that involve data acquisition, SQL queries, Excel analysis, and visual presentations. These projects are your ticket to showcasing your skills to potential employers. When I am interviewing I am more interested in what people have built than their certs and building something from data you are interested in makes the journey more fun. A final tip, in 2024 you have what people before you lacked a GenAI chatbot to answer your questions and help you analyse. You are at the starting line on GenAI with everyone else, use the new technology to learn and build faster.
