So i have 2b/2c hair after styling. But i recently got layers to make it more wavy at the top and more volume. Its not as curly as it was before and when i sleep how i usually did(bonnet pineapple method) it goes straight in the morning. How do i fix this? I was able to master it but then i got my short layers and its even more impossible.

totally agree on the ribbon curling: the more you apply straight tension to your hair,the curlier. Curly method and hairdressers don't get it.
