Apologising is indeed a matter of fact to start the apology, indeed, many people believe verbally apologising is enough but little do they know that it is nothing more than the very first step towards the apology. They then allow themselves to remake their mistakes thinking that their verbal apology was sufficient. This is very common and to not be a part of this group of toxic people, you must choose actions over talking. The most successful people found success through action and not talking. You should of course still apologise but never forget that your apology was simply the start for the procedure of your actual apology.
