We played year around baseball when my oldest was 7-8 and my middle son was around 5-6 , they eventually did end up getting burned out neither of them play baseball anymore 😔

I don’t understand parents who have 8 yr olds playing basketball year round. We do winter basketball, lacrosse in the spring, and enjoy the summer break. Fall is up to them.

they had paid coaches without a kid on the team. I also made it fun. we looked forward to traveling diff places to see the sights but play baseball also. we made it fun for him
