All of this is wrong. These buttons all work at all times of the day and they work for various reasons.

elevator buttons should have this simple logic: when the button is clicked check if there is any person in between the doors, if not close the door

Unless your a traffic technician you should speak about the buttons lol they place a call to the controller which makes the lights switch to the walking man.
