@heresyourbite: Orzo Alla Vodka ❤️‍🔥 Which #saltburn character would you feed this to? Yes this is a repost from my #onepanmeal series, but it’s just TOO good not to share again. The texture, the flavor, the ease…it’s a 10/10 all around! Here’s the recipe: - 1T olive oil - 1 T butter - 1 shallot, finely diced - 2-3 garlic cloves, grated - 1 t salt (to taste) - 1 t black pepper (to taste) - 1 t red pepper (to taste) - 1/2 t oregano (to taste) - 4.5oz tube tomato paste - 1 cup orzo pasta (I used @barilla) - 50ml vodka (a little less than 1/3 cup) - 2-3 cups chicken broth - 1/2 cup cream - Fresh basil, torn - Parmesan, to taste 1. Heat olive oil and half of your butter in a pan over medium heat. Add in your shallot, grated garlic, and seasonings. Cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently. 2. Add in your orzo and stir. Toast for a few minutes, then add in your tomato paste and stir to combine. Make sure to let the tomato paste cook off for a few minutes before adding your vodka. 3. Add in your vodka and stir. Cook for a couple of minutes. 4. Slowly add in your chicken broth, about 1/2 cup to 1 cup at a time. Stirring throughout the entire process (it’ll take about 10 minutes for the orzo to fully cook). Continue adding and stirring until the orzo is cooked and the sauce is to your liking (you may need to use more or less broth depending). 5. Add in your cream, torn basil, and parmesan. Stir. Throw in the rest of your butter and stir. 6. Sprinkle with extra red pepper and parmesan. Top with your favorite protein or just eat as is.
