It’s a bilingual thing. It feels unnatural to say a word when you speak the language. It pains me to say a Spanish word in an English accent. I’m fluent in both so I switch quick.

This makes me think differently about Giada in a positive way. I used to get so annoyed watching her cooking show because she would do the same. I feel bad now 🤣 This makes sense.

I find the opposite to be jarring 😅 whenever I hear people speaking another language & they randomly use English words in a completely American accent, I’m like “what the?!” & it’s often common words that make me think “you have to have those words in your language, why did you switch to English for just those words?!” 🤣🤷🏻♂️
