I use to think that I needed a quick fix to try and lose weight, or some magic pill But honestly there was no secret or quick fixes  And after almost 10 years of following these simple things I was able to lose weight and keep it off 1. There's no such thing as a fat-burning workout/pill/shake. There is no “quick fixes” to losing weight these are what they are quick, learning long term is what you need 2. It takes 6-8 weeks for your body to get used to an exercise routine. And almost 4 months before you start noticing a difference. Be patient.  3. You can’t out work a bad diet, being in a calorie deficit and prioritizing healthy carbs, fats and protein will help you loss weight, but restricting yourself will take longer 4. Walking 10,000 steps in a day is massively underrated for fat loss. 5. No matter what anyone says, you cannot target *where* you lose fat. And remember the scale always weights that fat when you stand on it! Along with everything else in your body!! 6. Strength train in a calorie deficit to make sure most, if not all, of your weight loss is fat loss. 7. You don't have to starve to lose weight. Eat more protein. Starvation mode is not a thing, if your not losing fat then you are not eating in a calorie deficit  8. Losing weight has more to do with your habits than your genetics,  9. You can eat foods like pizza, ice cream, & burgers and still lose fat if you eat clean 80% of the time. 10. You don’t have to spend hours and hours working out, sleep and recovery is just as important for muscle growth! Lack of sleep increases your hunger hormones during the day, making it harder to lose fat. And bonus The way you view yourself will always have an impact on your life. Your self-identity drives default actions. So STOP calling yourself
