@taylormade4success: ✨️What does your "list" look like?✨️ . . . Marriage is designed to make us HOLY not HAPPY. Therefore, your future spouse may not have everything that you think will make you happy (a six figure job, 4 college degrees, straight white teeth 🤣), but if the Lord sent him/her then they will be everything that you NEED. ✨️Ask yourself, does this "list" of my ideal spouse reflect more characteristics that will make me happy or holy? Maybe some things we're asking the Lord for in a spouse are actually rooted in our selfish desires. When's the last time you asked God, "What is it that you want me to desire in my future spouse?" If we're truly submitted to the yielding of the Holy Spirit, we will desire what He desires. We will want what He wants.
