Short story is 3.6 liter you want to install a remanufactured engine there's too much to go wrong. ECM requires programming and reset from old data

Well great! I am having the same problem on a Buick 3.6. Got about 15 hours on a top end and timing build. I was thinking oil pump. Now you got me thinking different. Great video!

God a love ecm failure leading to believe mechanical issue somewhere… wish I could say I haven’t dealt with this first hand multiple times. Diff situations but bad ecms non the less lol

was this ecm the weird one that mounts on the front of the right valve cover bolted to an aluminum bracket? those ones do wild stuff when they fail.
