Because they have to use preservatives so the bread doesn’t go bad when shipping. A loaf of homemade bread only lasts 2ish weeks while store bread lasts closer to a month

it's because that bread needs to be packaged shipped and sit on shelf's x amount of time before you get them, that's why fresh or homemade doesn't

Also look at the bakery 💀 they make fresh bread every morning at most grocery stores with yes 5 Ingredients but sell it half off the next day

Well our food isn’t locally sourced. We are shipping foods long distances, pumping them full of preservatives so they can make it to sit on a self for a week, and sit in your pantry for another.
