Fenna Loaghtan :
Humans have more stamina than most other animals including horses. Due to sweating instead of panting, we were fantastic hunters

Humans can out run distances of ANY mammal on earth, hence making them apex predators. Slow and steady wins the race.

Sid Phillips :
You have more endurance on two legs. You can track them to exhaustion after shooting with an arrow. They were literally great hunters.

for his theory to hold any water, we would have stayed on all fours....🤪

Expensive tissue theory is the most widely accepted model for brain growth currently. Includes but is not limited to higher meat consumption, also more complex carbs. Processing ie cutting and cooking

This doesn't sound right. We'd only become bipedal if there was an evolutionary advantage. Or a bi-product of a different advantage.

bob :
one difference was we could run at distance without stopping, because we could sweat.
Animals have to stop and pant
This was the game changer

MrGizzmokev :
Wrong... They could run down creatures is it not called persistence hunting? We basically jogged them to death, as we can sweat and they can't

We gradually lost our fur, enabled us to sweat, we could run far longer distances, our prey run to exhaustion. Plus stamina and endurance was higher.

all wrong, they practiced persistence hunting which is incredibly succesful and needed only endurance
