@muddlethroughmummy: Birthday traditions for siblings We give the boys a budget to go shopping for a birthday gift for their brother. Gift giving and receiving is a learned behaviour so we’ve done a version of this from a very young age. We encourage them to consider the other persons likes and preferences because as we know, thoughtfulness is far more important than how much you spend. We often craft gifts, or bake goodies, but today Oscar wanted to pick out some things from B&M. He may also have decided that Sonny would want him to have a mini Freddo Easter egg too 😂 I TRY not to interfere and let him take responsibility for what he buys but as he’s still young, I do remind him to consider Sonny’s likes and dislikes throughout the process 😅 #giftsforkids #tradition #birthdaytradition #Siblings #brothers #mumhack
