his disability is different but my ex has been declared legally blind but still drives and could work (imo as someone who was with him 8 years) but does not. I always worked with him took a reduction

Her child can receive a Social Security check also since dad is disabled. That’s what happened with my daughter.

this is why if you take a parent back to court for more child support you should prove 95 % is spent on the child and surprise visits to make sure

My ex file for disability and the year before he did that I signed a paper and it allowed me to go after him for past child support arrearages he was 15 years behind, and my son became dependent!💯

My 2cents :
MS is very debilitating. My son was diagnosed 2 years ago. He’s been very fortunate in that is symptoms haven’t stopped him from working but it’s not without daily physical challenges. I feel for him.
