In young patients or in those with few grey hairs, it can be possible to get rid of grey hairs. Mulitple studies have shown that stress alone can lead to grey hair and that reduction of stress can help hair return to its normal color. Controlling stress levels may also prevent premature gray hairs. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies, including iron, copper, B12 as well as low thyroid levels may contribute, too.
