@jpgloria.dpt: Is overpronation really the problem? - People tend to get fixated on the amount of movement occurring as the root cause of foot pain. However, we not only need to appreciate kinematics, which is how something moves in space... But also KINETICS, which is looking at how forces affect motion. We underestimate the fact the foot can undergo over 4x bodyweight as you run. In many cases, the problem is LESS about how much movement is occurring, and... MORE about the foot’s ability to handle the forces causing that motion in the first place. So perhaps you should consider incorporating exercises to help the foot adapt and handle those forces better. - I hope you found this post helpful.
