@habeeb_akande1: 🇳🇬 🇧🇷 🕌 "Muslims who came to Brazil as slaves laid the foundation of this country." - President Lula of Brazil African Muslims led a series of revolts in Bahia, northeastern Brazil, that contributed to the abolishment of slavery in 1888. The rebellions were organised by a number of enslaved Yoruba Muslim scholars against their Portuguese-Brazilian colonisers.
