My mom was in a nursing home and kept asking for money. We bought her prop money. It made her happy, and it didn’t matter if it got lost every day. We had plenty more.

I'm not mature enough for this. I'd honestly just start walking to TN with her. See where we'd end up on our new adventure.

My dad had dementia, I was not as patient with him as you are with your mom. I hope I could do it all over again knowing what I know now. 🥺

As an Occupational Therapist, I can say you handled this beautifully! I am always trying to teach my patient's family members to do this to prevent conflict that leads to more confusion. Thank you!!

My mom had dementia. We spent a lot of time cooking for her cousin and her children ( who had already grown up and had kids of their own).

I work with dementia residents & this is exactly what I try to do with them when they want to leave... treat them like an adult & be nice about it ❤ love this

My grandma would tell my dad “take me home my mom is gonna get mad” and my dad would tell her “I called her, she gave you permission to go back late”
