We called it utter butter, and it really does heal skin wounds, stinks really bad but works. Mom had a tin that lasted 30 yrs.

I grew up with this stuff. My Dad swore by it, and we always had a giant can of it. I now have my own smaller can, and put it on my heels and elbows.
