the silicone just isn't worth it. easier to just clean the pot. plus then won't get poisoned from the silicone getting hot

I hate using a crockpot myself, but when I do I lock the lid down because it cooks faster the steam stays in more and I know I’m probably shouldnt

You can purchase crock pot liners in the grocery store. Easy to use and no clean up!
