@brutamerica: At this year’s Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC), a January 6-themed pinball machine was set up for attendees. The game prominently featured a picture of Donald Trump, with phrases on the machine that allow players to hit high scores. They include “stop the steal,” “fake news,” “political prisoners,” and “Babbitt murder,” in reference to insurrectionist Ashley Babbitt who was shot and killed by police after climbing barriers to enter the Capitol. By hitting certain scores, a screen above plays clips from the January 6 attack on the Capitol, as well as audio clips from Donald Trump. The game was created by Jonathan Linowes, an entrepreneur who told The Hill that he hopes the game can “reach an audience” amongst those who aren’t usually political. CPAC, an annual Republican conference featuring speeches, election campaigning, and a range of exhibits, began on Wednesday, February 21 and ends on Saturday, February 24. Once again, Donald Trump will be the keynote speaker at the event. While the event was formerly a major gathering of Republican politicians, operatives, and constituents, in recent years turnout has declined markedly. Photo: Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images
