Im from Melbourne. I don’t pronounce it Alice. It’s Ellis. Starting with the way you’d say the letter L. I don’t understand why anyone would say Alice.

for all those wondering, we LITERALLY cannot pronounce EL. I feel like I'm swallowing a rock when I try it just comes out like AL and we really don't hear the difference.
