Numbing cream or spray is artist preference. Some say they don't like it bc people should earn their stripes...others like it because people don't flinch as much.

numbing cream is perfectly fine as long as its water based and recommended by your artist, i use tattoo numb x and never had issues

Honestly, I’m heavily tattooed and recently started trying numbing cream— trust me, it does not make a difference for the process— and really works, TXTX (the green one) I swear by it…

You can def do numbing options, it doesn’t have to be a cream. There’s sprays, washes, creams all kinds! I’ve done probs 50% of my tattoos with it, no issues

Neck tattoos are one of the most painful areas, 2 sessions in 2 days is crazy. For me, it was my elbow. They look great btw.
