Every psychiatrist I’ve been to had never spent more than 10minutes w/me!!!! But they charge 3x then a regular doc! Make it make sense! One psych had me so doped up & never spent time figuring it out

He ain’t lying but once you tell a physician your issues they’d do anything to help you wether that’s medication etc even on a 10 minute visit but I do agree

Can I get your office number? Because when I send a psych referral it’s 6-9 months on urgent referrals and more than 1 year for standard.

Yeah, but also to get in to see a physiatrist can take months and after you get in you still have to wait forever for your next appointment. Some people can’t wait that long so PCP’s step in.

The shame is its taught in schools that meds are usually "last resort" after other avenues of mental health management fails. Pharma unfortunately doesn't see therapy as profitable
